Headteacher's Welcome It is so lovely to finally see some Autumn sunshine after such a wet beginning to the week - I am pleased to report that the repairs to the roof have done their job and we had no buckets catching the drips around school for the first time in years! It was lovely to welcome some of our Reception parents into school this week for our Maths Talk and workshop this week. The children loved showing off their Mathematical skills in a range of ways. You can see some more photos on our Learning Gallery page. The Reception children have had a super day today outside in the playground with Balance Bike activities - well done! |

Hello Everyone, Thanks you for all your kind donations of cakes and money today! Well Autumn has well and truly arrived with the leaves changing colour and starting to fall. This means it’s definitely time to start thinking about Christmas! Next Friday (18th October) we will be sending out a template so your child can create their own Christmas card, to be returned first week after half term. You will then receive your unique on-line code and will be able to choose from a range of printed cards or gifts for all the family. The first of many festive activities to look forward to! We want to send a big thank you to everyone who’s tried the new on-line school uniform website, it has raised £63.55 so far! There’s still plenty of available if you need spares: Grown Out of It - Order Second Hand Uniform.
Cash Pot for Schools Quick reminder you don’t need to spend anything but just by signing up to the app, the school receives a donation of £1 and then additional funds every time you shop in Asda - PTA Asda Cash Pot Dress As You Please on Thursday 24th October No uniform today- children can choose to wear whatever they want! Please remember to pop a £1 in book bags. Notes from the Teachers Water Bottles: Please ensure water bottles are washed each evening! As cold season enters it is more important than ever to ensure good hygiene. Year 2 Maths Talk for Parents : Tues 15th Oct at 9:00am in the hall. Come and find out more about how we teach Maths in school and learn about ways you can support your child with their learning at home. Reception Weekly Newsletter Click Here. Dates for the Diary Please see attached the Parent Calendar for this year. Please take a few minutes to take note of dates including INSET and holiday dates, Parents' Evenings, Parent workshops to find out about learning in school and performances.
Notes about the calendar: 'Friendly Friday' - every 4th Friday that the children are in school parents will be invited into classrooms from when they open at 8:40am until when the bell rings at 8:55am. Initially this will just be Y1 and Y2 classes whilst the new Reception children settle.
