Headteacher's Welcome It has been another busy week in school! It was lovely to invite prospective parents in to visit our school on Tuesday. The Choir performed a few songs and then the School Council introduced our school values and talked about what they liked best about our school. Parents then had the opportunity to explore the school - I was very proud of all the children and there were many comments about how polite and well behaved all of the children had been. On Monday, the Y1 & Y2 children visited the Fulwood War Memorial to mark Remembrance Day and bring their learning about this to life. Once again the children were so sensible - we were all very proud of them. Well done! We look forward to welcoming parents into school next Tuesday and Thursday for our Parent Evening Meetings. Children's books will be displayed in the hall for you to look at before your appointments. Please arrive via the main entrance. After School Club will be based in Turtles classroom. Please remember there are no extra-curricular clubs on these days; (no Yoga, Football, Choir or Forest School) Next week is also the Sheffield Skipathon Week. We will be joining lots of other schools in taking part in this fun, energetic event! Children are welcome to bring a skipping rope to school every day next week to use in the playground at playtime and lunchtime.

Thank you for supporting our 'Dress as you please day'. Thank you so much for all the donations - so far we have raised... £208.26! You can still donate via ParentPay by following this link. All money raised goes to supporting the amazing work they do. This is their plea for this year... Help us make life lighter for children Right now we are only able to fund 1 in 8 organisations who ask us for help. Children across the UK are facing greater challenges than ever, with mental health conditions such as anxiety & depression rising, high levels of poverty leading to inequality & lack of opportunity. Many children are simply carrying a load that’s too heavy to manage alone, so this year, we are asking you to help make life lighter for children. |
