Headteacher's Welcome

It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of another school year! It has been an action packed year and it is wonderful to see just how far the children have come with their learning and importantly, their confidence. There have been so many proud moments which I have had the privilege of witnessing this year - every child has made huge strides and so many have far exceeded expectations. A special mention to our fabulous Year 2s who have been such a lovely year group; the progress they have made is amazing and I know they will go on to continue to be superstars in their new schools. Well done Year 2 - I am so very proud of every one of you!

I want to say a huge Thank You to my amazing staff team who work together tirelessly to ensure every child is offered enriching and exciting learning opportunities whilst being nurtured as individuals and enabled to thrive. Without these amazing people who go above and beyond, day after for our children, we would not see the confident, happy children who are thriving in our school. I feel very fortunate to work with such a hardworking, dedicated team of people.

And finally... a big Thank You to all our parents and carers who are so supportive of everything we aim to do. For many of our Y2 parents we are saying goodbye. We hope that you and your children take lots of very happy memories with you from your time at Nether Green Infant School.

Have a fabulous summer everyone!!!

  Preschool Update
We have moved on with our plans this week; we have booked a company to develop our fabulous new outdoor area and are hoping that work will start on this in September.  We have started allocating places for January 2026. We still have some availability so if you or anyone you know is interested please get in touch.
Parent Survey 2025
Thank you so much to those of you who completed our annual Parent Survey. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and there were some very useful suggestions and comments from parents which we have considered and we will share more details of further actions in September.
Thank you for all your input!

Messages from the Teachers

If you happen to find any stray school reading books when you are having a summer clear out, please, please return them to school. Every year our supply of reading books gets smaller as many get lost or damaged. They are very expensive to replace so if you do find any please send them back to us - Thank You!

Thank you for all the lovely cards and generous gifts - they are all hugely appreciated!

Thank you for all your support over the last school year. This has enabled us to raise a fabulous £9,600 for our lovely school and has funded classroom supplies and additions to the Woodland Area.
