Take a look at some of our learning.

You can see we have lots of fun!

What a fantastic last week of school!

We had a visit from Anna and we finished the week with a summer party!

We hope you have a fabulous summer! From the FS2 team xx

We had a Roarsome time at the 'Dino Star' work shop!

Friday was 'Pirate Day!'  We dressed up and took part in lots of 'piratey' activities, including finding treasure from One Eyed Winnie!

We went on a trip to the Butterfly House.  We had great fun exploring and meeting all of the animals.

Today was Easter Bonnet day!

The children from Nether Green Junior School came up and we all paraded around our playground showing off our fantastic hats!

Today was very exciting, we had a visit from the Police!  We explored their van, tried on their hats and found out what it was like to be locked in the cage at the back of the van!

As part of our topic 'People Who Help Us' we were lucky enough to have some parents come into school to tell us all about their jobs as doctors and nurses.

Lunar New Year Celebrations included a fantastic Dragon Dance workshop!

We used fans, parasols and a dragon to perform to music.

We have been learning about what life was like long ago.  We looked at some old fashioned objects, did the washing and dressed up.

As part of our minibeast topic we made minibeasts from fruit and vegetables.

Today we celebrated Down Syndrome Awareness Day and all wore odd socks to school!  This was to highlight similarities and differences - we were all wearing socks but every one was different, just like us!

Then we had a visit from Mrs Bun who had lost the Gingerbread Man and ... guess what, we found him in our school!

What an exciting week ...

We have made and decorated delicious Gingerbread Men!

The Koala class made crumble.

We picked the apples, cut them and then made the crumble.  It was delicious!

We have had a great time this week learning about birthdays and raising money for Children in Need!

We have all had a great first week.

Take a look at some of the things we have done.

Steven came in with balance bikes for us all to use.

It was great fun!

In maths we are learning to use positional language. We asked our friends to stand next to, behind, on or under and then used the camera to take photos of each other. We also had lots of fun learning about Diwali, going on a shape hunt and making bird feeders.

Exploring our school.

This week we have been learning about the story of Christmas.

We visited Christ Church Fulwood and acted out the story in school.

Fun in the sun!

We love playing in the big sandpit and exploring our garden.

We baked apple crumble, it was delicious!
