Open Morning for Prospective Parents

WE NEED YOUR HELP, PLEASE! Christmas Fair – Friday 27th November Our after-school Christmas Fair is now just 3 weeks away and preparations are in full swing! We’d love your support to make it a fantastic event for the children and the whole school community. There are lots of ways you can help: Bake or buy for our cake sale – Please remember that we are a nut-free school. Donate outgrown school uniform or festive clothing – Including Christmas jumpers, pyjamas and other seasonal items. Stock our Elfridges store – Donate unwanted gifts in new or like-new condition, suitable for all the family. The children will have the chance to buy presents for their loved ones or perhaps choose a little treat for themselves! Volunteer your time – We’ll need plenty of helping hands to run the Elfridges store, cake and book sales and, hopefully, serve some festive refreshments too. If you can help, please let us know as soon as possible via the PTA WhatsApp group or by emailing nethergreeninfantschoolpta@gmail.com. A huge thank you to everyone who has already offered to help or donate. Your support makes such a difference, and we really appreciate it! JOIN US AT OUR NEXT PTA MEETING! Our next PTA meeting is on Tuesday 10th November at 19:45 at The Florentine. If you’d like to help plan the Christmas Fair and other upcoming festive events, we’d love to see you there! Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to commit to being a regular volunteer to come along. Whether you have ideas to share or can spare a little time to help, every contribution makes a difference. We’d love to see some new faces! NEW: Christmas Movie Night – Friday 4th December, 5–6.30pm Santa’s Grotto – Monday 14th December, during the school day

Notes from the Teachers Reception
Contact with Teachers If you need to contact your child's class teacher you may email them using the class email which is the name of the class as follows e.g. bears@nethergreen-inf.sheffield.sch.uk, koalas@nethergreen-inf.sheffield.sch.uk etc Please do not expect an immediate response as teachers are teaching all day and are not expected to reply to emails during evenings and weekends. For a quick chat you can wait at the end of the day. For urgent messages please contact the school office. |

Dates for the Diary Please see the attached parent calendar which contains lots of important dates that you might want to put in you diaries including Nativity (Y1), Spring Concert (Reception) and Y2 Leaver's Performance. Please also note that on Friday 18th December we have Christmas singing outside for parents at 1:45pm. After school club finishes at 4:00pm on this day.
