Headteacher's Welcome

We had a super day in school on Wednesday celebrating World Music Day! The workshops were fabulous giving all children the opportunity to take part in playing 'Boom Whackers' and rehearsing and playing a piece of music together. They also had a visit from Violinist Martin Cropper and three of our former pupils who performed together playing violin and cello - it was super!

Summer Fair Today!

We are all looking forward to enjoying the Summer Fair this afternoon.

Here is the plan...

  • Parents are welcome to queue up outside the main gate or carpark gate where they will be invited to buy a programme ( cost = donation). The programme shows where all of the activities can be found and any specific timings.
  • Parents / carers can then collect their children from the usual exits.
  • Activities will start as soon as school has finished and the children have been safely dismissed.
  • Please bring Choir children to the Woodland at 3:55pm ready to perform.

PLEASE BRING CASH - WE ONLY HAVE ONE CARD MACHINE ON THE BBQ!

A FIRST AIDER WILL BE AT THE MAIN GATE AT ALL TIMES

Please bring children to school at 6:00pm on Tuesday.

Healthy Lunchboxes

We have noticed that some children who are having packed lunches are bringing in lots of unhealthy food. Good nutrition is vital for healthy physical and brain development. Please ensure packed lunches are giving your child a healthy, balanced meal.

There is some NHS guidance and ideas here:

Children's Commissioner Survey

We have been asked by Dame Rachel de Souza, Children’s Commissioner for England

to share this survey with you to complete with your child.

"I want to hear from children aged 0–18 from every background, in every part of the country, and your support will help make that possible. I’m asking children about the things they enjoy, the challenges they face, the changes they want to see in their communities, and what they think a good childhood should look like today."

take part here

Our Lion Cub will  is now  situated in The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield, S1 4FW until the 7th September for all to see!
