Headteacher's Welcome It's been a really busy week again, with lots going on. On Tuesday the Y1 and Y2 children visited the Fulwood Cenotaph as part of their learning about Remembrance Day. They were so sensible and asked lots of relevant questions during the visit. Elephants class made a beautiful poppy wreath which they placed on the monument. We had a successful Open Morning for prospective parents on Wednesday - the hall was full of parents and children visiting our school. The Choir sang beautifully, the School Council shared some information about our School Values and what they enjoyed most about school, and the rest of the children were brilliant in their classrooms as parents and children wandered through to see all the super learning taking place. We received lots of very lovely comments about the school and positive behaviour of the children which was great to hear.

Road Safety Near School Our Road Safety Officers were outside school this week reminding everyone about the importance of not bringing cars near to school with their 'No Idling Engines' banner. They gave out stickers to children reminding them of the important messages around sustainability and looking after the beautiful world we live in. Well done Road Safety Officers! |

Thanks to Mr Hopkinson for his work on this so far. The PTA are also going to fund some lighting outside the main gate, as it’s getting a bit tricky without this now the evenings are dark so early!
