Staff Change
We are sad to share the news that Miss Furniss will be leaving us on 6th June. She has been a fabulous member of our school team working in the office alongside leading our After School Club and working at lunchtimes and in Breakfast Club. She is loved by the children and staff alike and we wish her all the best for the future. She is relocating to Lincolnshire where she has been busy renovating a house ready for the arrival of 2 puppies!

Clubs for Summer 2 go Live on Tues 20th May at 7:00pm
All clubs can be booked via ParentPay.
Please read the details of the clubs here. We don't issue refunds once a club has been booked. If your child has been doing Choir this half term they are already booked on as we are working towards our summer concert. |
On Fri 23rd May (the last day before half term) children are invited to take part in a 'Dress As You Please' day. We would also love to treat the children to a Cake Sale! So we would be grateful if you could make donations of cakes, buns and biscuits (baked or bought). These can be brought to the office from 8.30am on Friday morning or dropped off on Thursday (22nd) before school pick up if that works better. Please remember we are a nut free school and ingredients must be displayed for home baked goods. Each class will be invited to choose their cakes after lunch. Please pop a £1 in their book bag that morning. We also invite parents to buy any remaining cakes after school, outside from 3 pm. At the October cake sale, we raised an amazing £170 for the school! It would be amazing if you could help us to do this again!!
The pirated themed Summer Fair will take place on Fri 20th June, 15:30-17:30 - a letter with more detail was sent out last week. Many thanks to those that have already volunteered to help, secured raffle prizes and bought in donations! We currently have about 70 prizes for the raffle totalling over £1,000!
Our next PTA meeting will take place ahead of the Summer Fair on Tuesday 3 June, 19:45 at The Florentine. We’d love for you to join us, especially if you are volunteering in the Summer Fair. Thank you for your continued support! The PTA Team If you have any questions, comments or want to get involved in the PTA, please message us at nethergreeninfantschoolpta@gmail.com. |
