Headteacher's Welcome

It has been lovely this term to continue to offer extra curricular opportunities alongside our school curriculum. These have been really popular and we are continually looking for ways to develop these opportunities for the children. The details of clubs next half term and how to book are below. We are mindful that some children missed out last time so bookings will go live on Monday at 7:00pm - hopefully this will help those who have work commitments during the day. Anyone who was on the waiting list has already been contacted and given priority to book. We will also be offering some morning clubs.

This week the Reception children have all taken part in a 'balance bike' workshop. They have really enjoyed developing their skills and confidence riding bikes in the playground with their friends.

Messages from the Office
  • There is a mountain of lost property again - we will put items outside next week if the weather is fine. We have lots of odd gloves and other bits and bobs. Please name EVERYTHING!!!!!
  • We are running very low on spare clothes in the medical room. If you have any spare childrens socks, tights or pants that you could donate, we'd be very grateful!

The new menu is now in place. Please see attached.

 Covid Update
As you may be aware, Covid cases amongst staff and children have continued to be very high this week. Thank you to those parents who have been testing their children regularly - this is the only way to stop the transmission in school.
Despite the changes to national guidance, school staff will be continuing to wear face masks in communal areas and visitors will be expected to wear them in the building
If your child has any of the classic Covid symptoms you're still advised to book a PCR test; if your child has a new cough, a temperature or loss of taste/smell they must not come to school.
