Headteacher's Welcome We are so excited about seeing all of our children back in school on Monday morning. We would like to thank you all for the amazing support you have given your children with their home learning - the teachers have been really impressed! Well done, we fully appreciate how challenging this time has been for our families. We would also like to thank you all for your support of school and our staff through this difficult time. A detailed letter was emailed out yesterday with key information that you need to know about school next week. Please spend a few minutes reading this as there are some small alterations to how school was operating before Christmas. You can read the letter here.
Please make sure you have checked the drop off and collection points for your child and take note of the time that they will be allowed through the gate. Please do you best to time this carefully as we really need to limit congestion on the pavement outside school. Please note there was a small error on the letter emailed out to parents yesterday; Kangaroos and Turtles gate time is 8:45 and their register time is 8:50 |
World Book Day Well done to all those children who took part in the Extreme Reading competition. What a lot of fantastic photos we have received! AMAZING!!! Click the image below to view the gallery. Well done - the winners will be announced in assembly on Monday. |
Breakfast Club and After School Club will be continuing as usual. If you wish your child to attend from March 8th please book places via ParentPay ASAP so we can ensure safe staffing levels. Please read this important letter about how we will be operating.
School Meals - Please make sure your child knows what they would like for dinner each day. This is especially important in Reception as it can cause delays and queuing outside classrooms in the mornings. On Monday we will be on Week 1 of the menu. Here is a copy of the current menu (please note it's new potatoes not mash on Monday!) |
New Author In Town Many of you will have been enjoying the stories written and illustrated by Mrs Wyatt's daughter Ellie. We are very excited to tell you that one of her stories has now been published. You can click below to hear Mrs Wyatt reading it especially for World Book day. If your child would like to own their own copy then please email Mrs Wyatt via the Giraffes email address and she will tell you how you can order your own copy. Mrs Wyatt reads... by Ellie Wyatt |
